DeWald is a strong lefty with great feel and IQ. She takes feedback well and implements into immediately into her game. Her patience and IQ were on display and she was a dual threat. Her change of speed kept defenders guessing and she was in total control with the ball in her stick.
Hohn is quick off the draw circle and demonstrated poise as a natural lefty. She made multiple impact plays, especially in day 1, and made her mark. She has good change of direction and can score in a variety of ways. Coaches appreciated the presence she plays with.
Pinkin is a righty attacker that is quick and shifty. She is tough, gets to the goal, and finishes the ball consistently in the back of the net. She plays at a high pace, coming off a varsity season at McDonogh. Strong stick work, IQ, and coachable. Coaches notes pointed to her strong off ball play as well as her ability to execute in the pick game.
Emma was an impressive player across the 2 days. She's dynamic, has a great stick & soft hands, and is confident with both hands. She uses nice change of speed to create her own shots and re attack defenders. She's a natural lefty and very coachable.
One of unanimous standout players at the event, she was fierce on the draw circle, tracked the ball well and consistently boxed out her opponent to always gain the advantage. She has a great stick, and is a great athlete. She dominated the BIC Combine. Bragg has an ability to win matchups 1v1 but she showed an IQ to score off picks and "nations" looks as well.
Ghosh stood out especially on her 1v1 dodging. She has a quick burst and consistently won her matchups. She is strong with the ball and turns the corner well. As she develops on her off ball spacing, she will be a very balanced offensive threat.
Excellent as a center draw player. Won several self draws and earned many possessions for her team. On the offensive end, she impressed with her ability to find space off the ball. Very good athlete with a high ceiling.
Mchugh was one of the more well rounded middies at camp. She has good hands and strong IQ, was strong on draw play, and had strong offensive skill. She can play the pick game and is a very strong athlete. Her versatility will be a benefit come her recruiting year.
Fossati demonstrated one of the most lethal shots at camp. Early in session 1 she snapped off a left handed alley shot low and away from about 8 meters that left everyone wondering how that ball found the corner. She made great decisions and let the game come, making a strong 2 way impact across BIC.
Tepedino was a strong midfield presence amidst the 2 days. She demonstrated an ability to finish plays all over the field. Great contributions on draw, offense, defense, and in between the 30s. Her hustle and grit stood out. As her dodging and ball handling progresses, she has tons of athletic upside to be a dynamic 2 way midfielder.
The more you watch Von Kennel, the more she stands out. She is a true 2 way mid. Her speed catches your eye, but her decision making and poise with the ball in her stick keeps you engaged. She's scrappy and competes after every loose ball. Found a way to be involved, whether off the ground, on defense or in the ride, or off a dodge or cut. Von Kennel has a bright future.
Gagliardi is tough 2 way midfielder out of Philly. She made major hustle plays through the camp, competed hard both ways, and is a strong in tight finisher. She came up with great handles on cuts and put the ball in the back of the net. One of those players that continues to produce.
Schwing exploded at BIC. She scored multiple goals in her first game, pushing transition from the D end. She was confident with the ball in her stick, played aggressive on ball D, and played with a presence that was matched by few at camp. Her versatility showed, making an impact on the circle as well. Strong in the clearing game.
Laake put an impressive 2 days of camp. Her footwork and speed are her strong suits, but she also makes great contact and matches her attacker's feet well. She catches eyes in transition when she can push a break and make great decisions. She is going to be a big time defender to watch.
Kilfoil consistently turned heads over 2 days. A rare lefty defender, she was physical, applied great, controlled pressure, and was strong in the clears. She has the makings of a big time D1 defender. Not only did she apply pressure, but she consistently forced turnovers without sacrificing position. Her presence and overall ability had her in the conversation for best defender at camp.
Greenberg played great defense throughout camp. She's an excellent defender, high IQ, and cuts off attackers angles very well. She's disciplined and we're excited to see how she progresses.
A midfielder by nature, Langton made her presence felt on the defensive end in multiple instances. She has range and length that keeps her within checking distance even if the offense gets a step, and great instincts to pick off passes. One of her highlight plays was a caused TO on an exchange pass that triggered a break, finishing with a pass & pick to free up a teammate.
Overall, Lyla was a top goalie performer at the event. Her communication skills stuck out immediately. She was able to direct the defense while she played in a perfect way. She sells out on lows willing to go into splits for a save. This type of mindset allows her to trust herself on low shots and make some game changing saves.
Booth is active in the goal and is a great athlete. She's comfortable with her stick - able to leave the crease and not get checked. Smart in the clearing game and can push the ball up the field. Gives 100% on all saves and has great hands. She is willing to sell out on low shots and made it really difficult for offenses to get in a rhythm.
