2023 PLL Round 3 Mock Draft

Written by Adam Lamberti | Mar 30, 2023 1:00:00 PM

Here are my predictions for the nexts eight picks in the 2023 PLL draft.

#17. Chaos (via Cannons): Brian Tevlin (Midfield - Notre Dame)

Two-way midfielders are all the rage in the PLL right now. The Chaos add a good one in Tevlin, a former national champion who has the tools and experience to make an impact immediately.

#18. Redwoods: BJ Farrare (LSM - UPenn)

The Redwoods only got 4 points from their LSM’s last year. Farrare is a skilled ball carrier who should have the green light from Coach St. Laurent to make plays on the offensive end. He’s also more than capable of playing SSDM if called upon.

#19. Atlas: Tyler Carpenter (LSM/Defense - Duke)

Carpenter is a vacuum off the ground and has been a steady force in the ACC for some time. While it’s a crowded LSM room, he's talented enough to carve out playing time.

#20. Archers: Connor Maher (SSDM - North Carolina)

While they’ve been gutted at attack, the Archers opt for defense with Maher in the 3rd round. He’s as solid a defensive midfielder as they come and will fill in nicely for the recently retired Dominique Alexander.

#21. Chrome: Payton Rezanka (SSDM - Loyola)

Like Maher, Rezanka is a steady presence at defensive midfield who will get minutes right away. A very safe selection for the Chrome.

#22. Whipsnakes: Wilson Stephenson (Defense - Duke)

Is there a player that has helped their draft stock more this season than Stephenson? Fully recovered from a leg injury, he’s playing at an extremely high level and would learn from the likes of Dunn, Muller, and Ehrhardt defensively.

#23. Chaos: John Geppert (LSM - Maryland)

The Chaos just resigned CJ Costabile, but need to start looking for the future at the LSM position. Geppert is a converted offensive midfielder who has gotten better every year at Maryland. He has a very high ceiling and might be my favorite pick up to this point.

#24. Waterdogs: Cade Saustad (Defense - Virginia)

While maybe overlooked in a strong defensive class, Saustad’s size and athleticism makes him an enticing prospect.
