Selection Process

Our team will review applications, consider recommendations from club, HS and local coaches, and perform their own evaluations in order to select top candidates every BIC event.

The Coaching

With partnerships with Goaliesmith Lacrosse and the Face Off Academy, the Best in Class staff has one common theme: they all have continued to progress throughout every stage of their career. Not only do they believe in the principles of hard work, coach-ability and growth mindset, but they have practiced these principles with great success. They know how to process feedback, analyze techniques and ultimately maximize success.

The Best in Class coaching staff has walked in the same shoes as our players and will be able to connect beyond the field and the X’s and O’s. Each of them represent the cornerstone of FCL, proving that hard-work and effort is as important off the field as on the field, and a well-rounded student-athlete will be a well-rounded and successful member of their community.

The Format

Best in Class brings together individual technique drills, small sided drills, live repetitions, situational environments, half field and full field scenarios, and in-game coaching points. The ultimate goal of this design is to help our players develop and prepare for the next level. Rarely do you get to truly train with such high caliber talent like you will see day in and day out of college. 

There will strictly be 4 teams per gender. Teams will compete in a mini Championship format.
